Community Connections

This space used to be our woodworking shop. Now, due to the changing needs of the individuals we support it is a place to relax and enjoy the company of friends. This room is call the Mary Alberts Room in honour of the kind donation Mary Alberts made to CLD a few years ago.

The Scerenity Room

Wood flooring, a fireplace and the best view in the whole building, this space used to be a paint room but now it allows one to savour a cup of coffee or to catch an afternoon nap.

First Aid & Rest Station

When the ocassional mishap requires a band-aid or if some one isn't feeling well, this room attempts to heal all wounds. On the left you see the old First Aid Room which was a bit industrial in appearance. The new room is much more soothing and relaxing.

The Main Floor

This is where the work gets done. CLD supports individuals to work various contracts acquired by our Vocational Department.

The Kitchen

All new cupboards and loads more counter space. We even added an island countertop to help with catering and the preparation of Thursday's "Hot Lunch" days.

It has been awhile since staff have had a proper office in which to work. This room used to be the home of our Community Connections Program.
